Are you having a destination wedding in Orlando, Florida or the surrounding area?
If so, you will need a marriage license issued from the state of Florida. Our company provides this service so that you will not need to visit the Courthouse when you arrive to Florida.
Details
Marriage license...wedding license...whatever you want to call it, you will need one if you are getting married in Florida. Not only will we save you from having to visit a Courthouse, but we are the ONLY company that includes a personalized visit with you in our service price, which is $293.50. That price includes everything- there are no other hidden fees that will pop up along the way.
Why are we different from other companies who do this?
With other license service companies, you are required to have paperwork notarized (or signed by a solicitor) at home. With our service, we will come and sit down with you when you arrive to Orlando (or Kissimmee, Clermont, Davenport, Four Corners, etc.) at your resort, villa, or even a coffee shop to notarize your signatures in person. It just takes a few minutes...we won't take up much of your precious vacation time.
The timing
It's okay if you are arriving just a few days before your wedding...we are experts at this and we WILL get your license ready in time for your big day! We don't charge extra for last-minute licenses- each and every marriage license we process is handled with care and treated with priority.
The price
$293.50. That includes the cost of the license itself from the state, so there are no other fees. If you would like additional certified copies of your license after the wedding, they can be ordered for $3 each.
STEP ONE:
Fill in our contact form below.
STEP TWO:
We will send you a secure form to collect your details.
STEP THREE:
We will come and meet with you when you arrive to Florida to complete the paperwork.
When you fill out the contact form, we will email you a secure form for the Florida marriage license that will ask for things like birthdays, passport numbers (or SS numbers for US citizens), and whether or not you have been previously married. No worries if you have been- you just need to fill in the date the marriage ended but you do NOT need to provide any paperwork for it.
Payment is due at the time of booking the service. We will also go ahead and set an appointment time to come to your resort or villa (or the place of your choosing) at that time. Mornings are usually good so that you have the rest of the day to spend at the parks or all the other fun stuff Orlando has to offer.
It's very quick and easy- it takes about 30 seconds for you to sign the forms, and a few minutes for us to reassure you that there is nothing else you need to do ;).
After our meeting, we take your signed forms to the Courthouse ourselves to finalize the marriage license process. At that point, we will deliver the license back to you or make sure that your wedding officiant receives it. Whichever you prefer!
$293.50, no other fees or taxes. We accept all major credit cards and bank transfers.
Yes it will!
Just your passports (non-US residents) or driver's licenses (US residents). Birth certificates are NOT REQUIRED.
Surprisingly not too much notice! Obviously for your peace of mind you don't want to wait until the last minute, but if you found this website a week before your wedding and you are stressing out, we are a good one to contact.
Good question! Our company is the only one who doesn't send you paperwork in the mail to have notarized (or signed by a solicitor). We come to your resort or villa when you arrive to Florida to notarize your signatures in person.
When you are planning a destination wedding in Florida, getting a marriage license may seem like a daunting task. If you decide to get it in person at the Courthouse, it's not difficult at all- it's just an issue of time and how you want to spend it.
If you have decided that going to the Courthouse is not something you want to do while in Florida and you're shopping around for a marriage license service, this is our advice: Booking with us ensures that you won't be paying solicitor's fees at home. You will find companies who offer a "marriage license by mail" service for anywhere from $180 to $350, requiring you to hire a notary/solicitor for your paperwork. But....several counties in Florida have a "license by mail" option for $86, the same cost as getting the license in person.
So why are these companies charging a fee for this service? We are confident that you know how to mail things. Feel free to email us if you're interested in getting the license by mail on your own and we're happy to email you the instructions and paperwork! But if you want to skip the Courthouse and keep things simple--hire us and we'll take good care of you!
